Day 16: Your favorite k-pop lyric (and a translation)

Uuu, that was actually... a surprise for me. Like, I had chosen the song and then suddenly when I was... I don't remember were, I thought that HEY, I like that song's lyrics the best. So the winner was:

I remember that Gerda showed me that MV because of the lyrics. And the first time I felt like... I have to write these lyrics down. Because they were awesome and I truly liked it. It has a meaning. Like, really.

I'm not the person who knows song's lyrics by heart. I read theme once or twice (sometimes more, but only when I really like them). I like listening to songs that I only know that what it is about. It's the main reason I don't listen to Estonian music, too. Call me strange if you want, but that's the truth.

Well, I'll post here hangul, romanized and English lyrics. But ones under the MV are perfect, so I suggest you to watch these. It made me think. Day 15: A k-pop song that reminds you of someone you miss

Well. This was the hard one. Actually, there were many contestants. But finally I decided. But I don't want to write that person's name here, so lets call that person The Person X (Like in Liar Game, haha XD). But the song is

CN BLUE - I'm A Loner

You want to know why? Well, there is actually a very simple reason. The Person X didn't like kpop music. Well... most of it The Person X didn't like. But once I told to The Person X about CN BLUE, a band that sang a lot in English. It was before their debute... right after the You're Beautiful. Well, and The Person X promised to check out their songs. I didn't have The Person X's answer on the question that did The Person X liked it or not. But when CN Blue had their Woetoriya song and music video, I showed it to The Person X.

The Person X told me that it was actually pretty good, although it was in Korean so The Person X won't listen to it. Anyway. I don't even know why, but sometimes I miss The Person X. Seriously. And I miss The Person X as my friend. Because yeah... sometimes it was really interesting to talk to The Person X.

Whoa, this post must be confusing.

But anyway, I think that CN Blue is awesome - they were so long on top of my most played 25 songs in iTunes. Enjoy!

Day 14: A k-pop song that makes you smile

Since I'd do everything to push my homework away, I'm here to tell you about the k-pop song that makes me smile. ^^ It's good question. And when I saw that, I just knew the answer. (Hehe, actually it's next day already!)

XING - Hi-Five

This song is just too amazingly cute. They look cute too. I discovered Xing thanks to D-NA, because they were at first part of that group. And the first MV I watched was that... and I totally fell in love with it.

It has a happy feeling in it and it makes me feel lot of better too. When I'm having hard times, with school or something like that, I always watch that MV before falling to sleep. And it's like... like a magic! I always get to sleep peacefully. :)

Most of Xing songs are kind of sad, well, maybe not My Girl, but others are. It's so weird to think that so many idols have been in Xing that now are in different groups... I wonder what they think when they see these videos. Oh, I wanted to write here about two my favourite parts of the song and MV too.

AND... Hyunmin's voice is so awesome. I start to like it more and more besides Suhoon's! The first one is somewhere around... after the rap part, around... 2:08. When Mika starts to sing alone, that one phrase... JUST TOO GOOD! And the second part I really love is around 2:57, where Hyunmin sings and Mika kind of... repeats it while putting his hand on Hyunmin's shoulder! It's so cute and I love their voices. Anyway, it's totally the song that makes me smile!

Day 13: A k-pop group you dislike and why

It's a topic that can hurt fans, so hopefully you won't read it if you are the type to get hurt easily. And it's not a easy decision, too. But still, I decided to write about the topic. I strongly hope that you won't be mad at me. :) It's just my opinion.

Firstly, I'm going to talk about the k-pop guy group that I dislike and it is

TEEN TOP

Here is one of their latest songs. I have to say, that I TOTALLY LIKE THE SONG! It's catchy and all. But I don't like that they are so young and their voices are kind of week, really! Just listen the parts without auto-tune! Auto-tune can make wonders, but I have to say that there is a tone in their voices that I don't like at all. I don't know much about their personalities, too. But I have a feeling that they aren't INTO k-pop yet. They are new group and too young to have that WOW effect like some new mands have. There is a lot of room for improvement! So maybe I'm going to change my opinion in the future. Look forward to it, if you happen to like these boys. And if you want to change my mind - give me a reason! I'm willing to watch videos and pictures, honestly. ^^

And now I'm going to write about k-pop girl group that I dislike. It is

SNSD

This is just a random, well known MV. The important thing is that: I LIKE THEIR MUSIC, THEIR SONGS! But what I don't like are some members. Well, actually their... character. That would be accurate.

Well, I've watched quite many videos of them, shows with them in it. And no matter how hard I try, I can't bring myself to like some of the members. I won't say names, because it's like... accusing.

SNSD members are lovely and nice, but some of them are arrogant (or is it just me?). For example I've seen one of them singing and acting in a variety show. She was highly praised and all, but to me, it was too fake and there were LOTS OF MOMENTS where she was so confused and didn't to anything, she wasn't in her role. And trust me, I've learnt acting so I know. It feels like she is the one that can't handle critique. And there are others as well - wanting to be best and using not so good methods for it. To be honest, in every variety show where some members of SNSD attend, I feel annoyed. And I'm not the person to judge people by first impression.

But once again - I think that there is high possibility for me to really start liking them, even the members that I'm not very found of at the moment.

Day 12: The very first k-pop song you’ve ever heard

Well, I think it may be cheating, but still. Because the first song that I ever heard was:

DBSK - Doushite Kimi Wo Suki Natte Shimattandarou

Why it is cheating? Because it is in Japanese. But it was still from k-pop group. If I have to say the first Korean song, then it would be DBSK's "O" or Big Bang's "Haru Haru". Because I don't remember which one I saw first out of these two.

Anyway, in that video, there are some of famous Japanese actors that my sister has seen a lot in dramas or somewhere. She is bigger Japanese drama fan than me, so yeah. It's pretty beautiful song. I like it a lot. And I posted some time ago it's live in here too, look it up if you want. Haha, actually, this song makes me cry now, too. But mostly while watcing lives or things like that. Yeah, I can't help it.

The story: I watched Dangerous Love and then, when I had found out that DBSK is really a band, I searched for their songs in 4shared.com. And then I downloaded few of their songs, but there was an English title: "Why I like you..." so I thought it was in Korean. And while I was going to sleep, I remembered that I had this new song in my mp3 player and I hadn't listened to it. So I took it with me and before falling asleep I listened to it. The moment the song started I got up, ran to my sister and said that: THEY SING IN JAPANESE TOO, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? Because at that time I was a great fan of Japan, animes and mangas. :D So yeah. And next day I searched a lot of their videos more...

But Big bang - it was thanks to one user in interpals.net. She had a pictures of a boy band there and I thought - whoa, they look kind of pretty. And I read that it was somekind of Big Bang... And Haru Haru? I was really HUH? So I searched it up in youtube and listened to it a little. It didn't give me a big impression, but slowly, from time to time I got back on youtube and watched it several more times...

Day 11: Your favorite k-pop music video

Well, this was even kind of easy for me. There are a lot of MVs that I love, but there is one that I always call my favourite MV. And what's more... it's not a lot of people's favourite MV. Even when they pick this band as their favourte or do that particular band's challenge, I haven't seen that someone picks this as their favourite. Here you are:

Why I like this? Well, I can list all points while watching this, just a moment!

• Their dancing at the beginning - isn't it just AWESOME?!
• Their clothes are pretty awesome too.
• Then there is Yunho calling for a moment - God, he looks so good!
• Junsu's voice is great at the beginning, gives a good feeling.
• Yoochun looks kind of cute. And the next moment he is tired, he looks amazing.
• And then suddenly Changmin with his fresh voice starts to sing. Although he IS bit funny, moving his head so fast.
  
• Then the chorus part - again some epic dancing.
• And finally a close-up of Jaejoong for a moment, like introducing characters one by one. Camera work is enjoyable too.
• And Yunho starts to sing. With his distinctive voice.
• And then Jaejoong dances in the front! And finally I can see him more!
• He is on the floor and there is a glass of vine. And phone. That's the best part of this MV!
• Some more dancing.
• A car! There is written TVXQ1. I love that car!
• And Changmin part! Me likes it a lot.
• Then my most loved song part - Jaejoong raps! That is just amazing. I will never get tired of it!
• And look where he puts the phone! On the glass. The MV is so perfect all together.
• Yunho's best rap. And you know... I count that as a YunJae moment. Yunho is beautiful there. Not like Jae, but different.
  
• I can't get over - Mickys haircut is so nice!
• And the ending - perfect.
  

That's all. But look how much I can love in a video that is actually pretty short. I love DBSK and it's the most awesome video. I was totally obsessed with it, when I discovered it. And it gives so much to the song too. :)
